Wrapping Up Furniture with Peter Vardy
Here’s a project we were thrilled to be involved in/tasked with. Refreshing existing furniture items for Peter Vardy’s Carz rebrand.
In 6 weeks, Chrystal & Hill managed to finish 5 branches across Scotland.
As part of the Peter Vardy Groups No Planet B environmental initiative they were keen to ensure the rebrand was carried out using as much of the existing furniture and fittings as possible. With the exception of brand-new operator and visitor chairs, we worked together, used our imagination and got creative with fabrics, textures, and pantones, re-upholstering all soft seating and wrapping all furniture in vinyl.
Our partners and friends at Appeal Media did a fantastic job helping us out with the vinyl wrapping, with our go to people, DS2 Scotland working wonders again with their re-upholstering expertise. The colours were chosen to compliment the branding of the new Carz stores.
Soft seating units were upholstered using Camira fabrics – in dual tones, giving that ‘pop’ effect you get when you walk in to a Peter Vardy site.
Walnut desks and furniture units were wrapped in a gloss grey vinyl to update the look, keeping it fresh and sleek.
The ‘WOW’ factor came with the customer hospitality areas at two of the automotive giant’s flagship stores in Motherwell and Aberdeen. A worn and outdated bar/café area in solid walnut wood was refreshed with gloss grey vinyl wrapping, complimented with a detailed mirage of carefully selected images from landmarks related to the two cities.
The outcome worked seamlessly with Peter Vardy’s vision for the overall brand along with their environmental commitment to work together with their trusted Eco partner PawPrint.
It’s been a pleasure working continuously with Peter Vardy as a trusted client. We hope all the staff and customers alike, enjoy their new surroundings!
