The journey of began against the challenging backdrop of the 2008 recession, when founders James and Joe, driven by their passion for design and their commitment to excellence, graduated from university. Despite the tough economic climate and the struggles faced by established companies, they successfully completed various commissioned projects, showcasing their dedication and talent.
In December 2009, during a festive gathering with old friends, the idea of merging their skills and expertise took shape. That night marked the inception of Joint Design Direction, which would later evolve into JDD Furniture. By the following summer, their vision came to fruition, and officially opened its doors, ready to make a lasting impact in the furniture industry.
